Once you’ve hired a professional property manager, the extra time that you have could be amazing. Someone else can handle finding tenants, supervising maintenance and dealing with tenant issues while you pursue something new.
Here are a few creative things to do with your spare time!
- Binge-watch a television series. There are many TV episodes still available for viewing online which you’ve probably missed while managing your property. Revisit an old favorite or find a new one.
- Invent something. Try to find something around your house that you can improve upon, and then make a prototype. Every great invention begins with a great thought!
- Volunteer! You can make the world better by finding a way to serve your community. Taking meals to the homebound, reading to school children, advocating for others, or sharing your talents are all possible ways to use some of that newly-found free time.
- Learn to paint or play an instrument. You don’t have to have any real talent to try something new and have some fun. Check your local area for classes or recreational events.
- Become a YouTube sensation. Did you know the most successful YouTuber makes over $13 million a year? These self-made millionaires make money doing a variety of things such as playing with toys, commenting on video games, or parodying popular songs. Check out other YouTube offerings to see which ones are popular or helpful.
